Screen Expo Dubai

Looks like Screen Expo Europe (London) is definitely moving to an April 2009 time slot as we predicted and in an interesting, further international move by the organisers it seems that a Dubai event is on the cards for 2009 as well.
In an interview with Mark Pigou over at the Minicom Blog, he said “… we are going to move to April as February is becoming a bit congested and cramped. Also we most probably will be having a Dubai show next year”.
We are not sure if Screen Media India would have been deemed to be that successful, an awful lot of presenters traveled a great distance to present to 150 delegates and we would guess at that level of attendance it would have been hard for the organisers to make any money.
First year shows are often difficult.
