Chris Grosso Becomes New @Intersection_co CEO

Intersection, the leading Out of Home media and smart cities technology company, today announced that Chris Grosso has been appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. This follows the news of course that Place Exchange has closed $20 Million in Venture Funding and that incumbent CEO Ari Buchlater will move over permanently to become CEO of Place Exchange.

Grosso brings a wealth of expertise to this role, having served as Intersection’s Chief Operating Officer since 2017, as well as in a number of senior leadership capacities across the media industry over the past 20 years.

As COO, Grosso played a critical role in developing Intersection’s business strategy, product portfolio, and operational capabilities over the last five years. He has been a key architect of the blueprint that drove industry-beating growth for Intersection before the pandemic and are now accelerating the company’s growth coming out of it.

An experienced media executive and business strategist, Grosso has a deep understanding of how to build and operate media businesses, helping companies adapt traditional business models to the digital world. Prior to his role at Intersection, Grosso held senior general management roles with AOL, NBC Universal, and Hearst. He also was one of the earliest members of McKinsey & Company’s digital media practice. Chris has a long track record building high-performing teams while working at traditional and digital media companies.
