Marketing Point de Vente Show, Paris

As I wrote a few weeks ago ^[2] “France may not have its very own DOOH show yet, but this year there are two big trade fairs that aim to cover the sector; VISCOM Paris in September and Marketing at Retail March 30th, 31st March and 1st April 2010 at Pavilion 4 at the Porte de Versailles” and that latter show closed its doors, literally a few hours ago, Thursday afternoon.

Perhaps the organisers were right not to have a show in 2009 – 2009 was a pretty bleak year all round BUT now those that have weathered the storm seem set to reap the rewards this year – everyone I talked to at the show was very upbeat.

Walking into the hall, the show felt right straight away.

The Digital Media area was very much the centre of the show and the centre of attraction and I will be covering that in a bit more detail Friday morning.
