Coffee Is Good For You

Atlanta-based Everwell TV, a nationwide TV network in doctors’ waiting areas in the U.S., has announced a book deal that will expand its award-winning content to print.

To be authored by Robert Davis, Everwell’s president and editor-in-chief, the book will be a fun and informative guide about the believability of popular food advice, entitled Coffee is Good For You: The Skinny on Diet and Nutrition Claims, it will be published by Penguin’s Perigee Books.

The deal is part of Everwell’s ‘Everwell…Everywhere’ initiative, an ambitious plan to distribute its entertaining and informative health content beyond the waiting room TV network to other platforms such as the web, e-newsletters, and video-on-demand.

The book’s style will mirror that of Everwell’s wellness-related video content, which is lively and entertaining, and often includes a dose of humor.

Davis’ previous book, The Healthy Skeptic: Cutting Through the Hype About Your Health, was published in 2008. He is represented by Lynn Johnston of Lynn Johnston Literary.

“Much of our video content aims to help people make sense of conflicting and confusing nutrition advice, and the response from viewers has been tremendous,” says Davis. “I’m thrilled to be able to do the same for readers”.
