The Screen Forum USA will hold its New York launch event June 22 in association with the Digital Screenmedia Association at the Crosby Hotel in New York.

The event, focusing on trains, planes, metros, buses and basically everything that moves of interest to digital out-of-home advertisers, is scheduled to start with a breakfast meeting and run from 9 a.m. to noon. It will include short presentations and case studies from companies specializing in the different sectors of the transit world. The transport sector has provided some of the earliest and most successful digital signage case studies.

The high traffic and high value audiences of the worlds’ airports, train stations and metro hubs have proved highly desirable to digital advertisers, and advances in mobile internet and video-on-demand technology brings is exciting passenger-targeted digital opportunities.

Speakers will include: Rich Ament, senior vice-president, business development, Displays Division, CBS Outdoor; Erik Bottema, Director, Aviator North America, Kinetic Worldwide; Mark French, founder, NBC Everywhere; Denise MacDonell, general manager of digital signage, Harris Corporation; Lou Giacalone, president, CoolSign.
