Amscreen Does Comic Relief

Amscreen, good eggs that they are, are once again supporting this week’s Comic Relief effort. It’s ‘red nose day’ this Friday for those readers NOT in the UK and not in the know and Amscreen have made a huge donation by giving free airtime.

Amscreen will be displaying content for the charity across their forecourt, convenience, healthcare, leisure and WHSmith Travel networks all over the UK which will of course reach an extraordinary 25 million people in a bid to help the charity raise money for aforementioned Red Nose Day (Friday 18th March).

The initiative will encourage customers to ‘do something funny for money‘ and will run across Amscreen’s network until midnight on 20th March. The advert features comedians Harry Hill, Dawn French and Michael McIntyre.

Amscreen CEO Simon Sugar told us “We are Tottenham, We are Tottenham Super Tottenham, From the Lane” and then added “Comic Relief is a fantastic charity and we are keen to encourage people to do their bit and raise as much as possible. By screening their content on the Amscreen network, Comic Relief are asking our entire audience of 25 million people a week to get creative and find fun ways to support the charity”.

Amscreen, whose nationwide network delivers digital media to over 3,000 sites across the UK, will air the Red Nose Day advert ahead of its big night of TV on Friday 18th March. It follows a similar initiative with Children In Need in November, where they also donated space on their network to the charity.
