The Customer Engagement Technology World [1] this morning saw the three top Awards of Excellence from the Digital Screenmedia Association [2] presented.
The Industry Award of excellence went to Continental United Airlines [3]. Among the many reasons was that it was the first to successfully incorporate the mobile boarding pass. It also built automatic check-ins and apps for the iPhone and Android platforms
The Deployer of the Year award went to Care Media Holdings [4], operator of three networks: KidCARE TV, Women’s HealthCARE TV, and PetCARE TV. It was recipient for its exceptional content, efficiency and accountability in the medical sector.
The Integrator of the Year award went to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines [5] and its partner Four Winds Interactive [6]. The companies put 200 screens into the newest, biggest and most technologically advanced cruise ship.
