Cisco Bracing For Massive Layoffs

Because Cisco have their head in the clouds when it comes to digital signage and digital out of home we doubt that the truly senior Cisco people know how hapless she really is but we’d put a lot of money on Janice Le Litvinoff, Cisco’s Senior Director and General Manager, Digital Media Systems Business Unit at Cisco Systems being available shortly when Cisco starts its biggest layoff in its history, we quote from the Mercury News “Silicon Valley was shaken .. by an analyst’s report that Cisco might be planning up to 5,000 layoffs in August to bring down its operating expenses”.
We have been questioning Cisco’s commitment to digital signage since way back in 2009 and never understand how Frost & Sulley manage to rate them so highly.

It really doesn’t matter anyway. Without Brian Carnell there the innovation Engine will cease to exist and they will likely fade away.
