Antoine Azar, 2XM Interactive; Yvon Théoret, Ingenio

2XM interactive crafts mobile applications for iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7, along with interactive touch surface solutions for storefronts and mobile units.

Its mobile software platform allows for unique interactive experiences in which crowds can simultaneously join in through their own mobile devices.

The first version of this platform allowed the STM to transform the 80,000 U2 fans at the Montreal concert into virtual bus drivers. By simply opening the browser of their smartphones, visitors were able to collaboratively control their on-screen 3D bus as if they were holding an actual wheel.
