A Chicago-based event production company is looking for a director of A/V and Lighting services. This position includes managing all freelance and fulltime employees, maintaining extensive audio, visual and lighting equipment, working with sales people and designers in laying out events, maintaining database of equipment and managing onsite installations.
Candidates must have: at least 5 years event experience managing teams both in office and onsite, scheduling and inventory management experience, A/V management, car and clean driver’s license. Position pays USD 52k – 65k based on job experience, health benefits and vacation.
Only people with special event meeting production A/V experience need apply. Job requires night and weekend hours in addition to regular schedule. Need to be able to run a whole department without supervision.
