Stadium Media – DOOH & The (In) Crowd @ScreenForum

On the 27th November, we will once more be venturing up the M6. In conjunction with #ISE2013, The Screen [1] will hold a special Breakfast Briefing alongside the NEC Northern Competence Day looking at the growing role of digital signage technology within our Stadiums and Large Venues.

[2]In a world of ever greater commercialisation of sports media rights and where sponsorship at sports venues are commanding ever greater valuations, The Screen will look at how digital media is getting in on the game.

The awe-inspiring digital installations at the Olympic Stadium have shown that stadiums need to do more than simply look at digital out-of-home as basic ‘replay screens’ or ‘pocket-money’ and focus more on improving the overall visitor experience and competing with their peers. Advertising within arenas is evolving and the opportunity for synergy between digital platforms and social media is opening up a wealth of new communication channels for venue owners.

On the morning of the 27th The Screen will be taking a closer look at how this second generation of digital out-of-home technology is set again to transform the visitor experience at our major arenas. We will look at the opportunities for the digital signage industry and hear from speakers representing key organisations working across stadium media and technology.

This unique #ISE2013 inspired Breakfast Briefing is for anyone buying, installing, specifying, planning or operating digital signage technology from A/V to DOOH. The informal meeting will be held within the MOSI Museum and after the presentations, networking and touring of the new digital galleries, attendees will also have the chance to view the latest videowall, display and projector technology on show at the NEC Northern Competence day
