#CES @ImmersiveLabs Meet In Corridor

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

We’ve ‘called’ PR agencies and their clients before, on this, at our own industry shows, so it’s probably not a surprise that the same (freeloading) happens at a massive show like #CES.

Just before the festive break we received a press release from Immersive Labs, the New York-based leader-in-their-own-zipcode in audience analytics, stating that they would be at #CES, we quote “meeting with customers and partners”.

The press release went on to say that Steve Lubin, the COO of Immersive Labs, will be at #CES in Las Vegas from January 7-10 and if you would like to meet with Immersive Labs, please contact blah blah blah.

Most of these companies don’t have two pennies to rub together so it’s probably not a surprise that they don’t actually have a stand (and we wouldn’t take issue with that necessarily unless they continue to be disingenuous at best with their press releases).

If you want to do business with Steve ‘Fruit Loops’ Lubin you can meet him in the corridor and watch out for Immersive Labs at #dse2013 as well, they will be hanging around the roll up door at the far end of the show pavilion near stand #1602.

Hey Adrian I happen to know you haven’t seen the Immersive Labs product in action. I have, it’s really really good. So I’m curious how you are able to reduce Immersive Labs to ‘leaders in their own zip code’? Steve ‘Fruit Loops’ Lubin? Do you even know Steve? I’m guessing you’ve applied the same evaluation methodology to the IL product as you did when you compiled that really accurate list of top 30 Digital Signage products. Normally I do my best to ignore crap like this but I know the guys at IL, great people with a great product.
