Final #dse2017 Twitter Analysis

Another big industry show and yet another fall in the use of twitter (twitter traffic for both #CES2017 (detailed here ^[1]) and #ISE2017 were down 10% on the previous year, and both were the first year that either of those shows did not see a year-on-year increase).

#dse2017 has seen this trend as well, with the headline number of tweets down a whopping 32.7%. All other numbers were also down.

Here’s our final #dse2017 twitter analysis ^[2]for the last 30 days: –

No. of Tweets: 4,906 (down 32.7% from 2016)
No. of Twitter impressions: 24,814,679 (down 20.91% from 2016)
No. of Twitter users who tweeted: 1,060 (down 12.32% from 2016)
No. of Twitter users reached: 2,431,386 (down 20,85% from 2016)

The highest number of tweets per hour was 167 (as shown above) – achieved at 09:00 on the first day of the show, Wednesday March 29, 2017.
