Pop Along And Say Hello

Whilst it’s sad for the creditors this comment on the post ‘BITS AV In Pieces Again [1]‘ just made us LOL in the office “For any creditors of BITS (berkshire) Ltd or for that matter HDS, Both Andrew & Marizo will be on stand 58 at the BCSC exhibition in Manchester”

The anonymous commenter further suggested that folks owed money “Pop along and say hello” and we seconded that.

The http://www.bcsc.org.uk/ [2] event was 1 – 3 November 2010.

Once again a post here has turned into a forum for BITS AV / HDS Alumni. Enjoy!

Surely it should read, BITS (Berkshire) Ltd, BITS AV Ltd and HDS?

What prey tell will Andrew and Maurizio be offering – a 10% discount on your next signage deployment contract I wonder?

These guy’s have more front than Lord Fabian and I simply didn’t think that was possible.

I hear 2 Ex bits engineers are now “working” for HDS, Anyone know who?

#7 Comment By The Dark Lord On 29 October 2010 @ 21:46 @949

working is a strong word; they just on the payroll list without them knowing it for god knows why.

on an other note, they may struggle on the 6×3 stand they have; as they are now up to eight delegates as follows: (there are some very familiar names on it, —what are these bunch of idiots up to now?????)
High Definition Solutions Ltd Maurizio Caruso, Director
High Definition Solutions Ltd Dan Clemens, Director
High Definition Solutions Ltd Geoff Evans, Director
High Definition Solutions Ltd Andrew Prodromou
High Definition Solutions Ltd Keith Thompson, Director
High Definition Solutions Ltd Gary Truman, Director
High Definition Solutions Ltd Paul Watson, Director
High Definition Solutions Ltd Anna Wrobel, Business Development

#10 Comment By The Dark Lord On 30 October 2010 @ 19:50 @868

#11 Comment By Tom Milner On 1 November 2010 @ 10:09 @464

I’ll be going nowhere near that lot thanks very much!

I feel I should know some of those other names as well but I could not quite place them…..alll very easily found on Linkedin though!

There are probably very good reasons why AP does not add a title these days?

Before you make any decisions ask some of his engineers as rumours are their not happy and his second has walked

#18 Comment By Nelly The Elephant On 3 November 2010 @ 21:26 @935

Funny how their stand was next to Ram Vision?

Hope it went really well for them – their wage bill must be larger than Man Utd?!

#19 Comment By gazza On 4 November 2010 @ 12:11 @549

Yes so I heard – also heard a few ex- engineers from BITS were with RAM. Unfortunately I can’t comment much re RAM..well I could but i’m not that sort of individual

#20 Comment By Ex-Contractor 2 On 4 November 2010 @ 23:42 @029

Maybe we got this all wrong
All Andrew needs is a hug?

#22 Comment By Tom Milner On 5 November 2010 @ 21:02 @918

And Ex-contractor 1….who was your last comment aimed at?

#23 Comment By Tom Milner On 5 November 2010 @ 21:03 @919

Hmmm…

Dunno about a Hug, I just had a letter from HMRC saying that I’m underpaid on NI for the tax period 08-09….where was I working…..oh yes BITS (Berkshire) Ltd!! 🙁

#24 Comment By dave Webb On 5 November 2010 @ 21:07 @921

Hello all, feel I’ve been here before, don’t think Andrew can even make tea.

#25 Comment By Steve English On 9 November 2010 @ 10:11 @466

Hi Tom… Hi Dave…..

Here we go again….

Old news I’m afraid, no-one at bits berks had any NI or tax paid 08-09 (surprise)
I suspect the 2 ex bits engineers who were the ONLY 2 HDS engineers (and are now ex HDS engineers!!!!!) are in the same boat plus not being paid for several months. – Might be an idea for any bits engineers to check there tax & ni status as i understand HDS have several “Virtual” engineers on the payroll.

#26 Comment By The Dark Lord On 9 November 2010 @ 17:17 @762

Hug him at your own peril!!

thats what i love about this small industry. nowhere to hide! its good news for us who try to do a decent job for decent pay – no need to advertise, work will find you…the more of the prodomus out there, the better fur us ‘good guys’ …

#27 Comment By Dave webb On 10 November 2010 @ 10:58 @498

Hello Steve and all, as far as I know my tax and ni were paid right up to the time we were forced to leave. According to my p45 etc I have been in touch with the tax people and they say all is ok at the moment. I’am getting used to this early retirement lark. Just doing a few jobs at home, don’t even have to sign on anymore, other half was made redundent last christmas, so we are both at home doing what we want.

#28 Comment By Nelly The Elephant On 10 November 2010 @ 19:51 @869

Hi all – again…..

I too got the same letter last week, but received another today after I sent them my P60 saying all is well with me.

So yes it looks like they deducted NI but didn’t pay some or all of it.

Is that not fraud of some type??

#29 Comment By Saved by a kindly gent On 11 November 2010 @ 18:03 @794

Whilst attending a recent trade show in Manchester I was approached by an elderly gentleman who proceeded to point at Mr Prodomou (who was some distance away) and exclaimed “That man is telling lies”, Surely you can’t hear him from here I replied, No he said, but I know he is lying, How’s that I asked? The old man leaned towards me and said “He’s lips are moving” he then quietly picked up his bag and wandered off. The point of all this is that my MD had proposed a meeting with HDS, & on the strength of what the (anonymous) old man had told us we did some further investigating, suffice to say the meeting never took place. If you’re reading this old man, please contact us – Thankyou & thanks DDooh

Hi Dave, Steve. Nk, and any l have mised, I have been in touch with the Tax l am paid up fully as far as there concerned, funny that it’s nothing to do with this. Also whats funny l was told to check The Daily Doo the other day but only found the old stuff. Sorry for being out of the loop but l am dealing with a family member who’s cronically ill in Southend hospital so most of my spare time is spent there.
All the best

#31 Comment By Dave S On 18 November 2010 @ 20:05 @879

#33 Comment By Daren Green On 29 November 2010 @ 13:18 @596

It would seem that there is some office space available in Chiswick…. Just as soon as its been fumigated…..
as the Proclaimers once sang…..
“Adalphi…. Na’more, Bits… Na’more… Ashingo…. Na’more…. HDS… Na’more”

Wonder what the 2nd verse will be ?

Looks like AP has been up to his old tricks with his John Bull printing set and a well known factoring company….. (R eally B ig S cam)

What happened to Andy Holmes ?

#38 Comment By Girltalk On 6 May 2011 @ 14:09 @631

Well…its not jst AP! Maybe everyone should look further afield …Dubai?
Love the way the boys jst reincarnate, fleece anyone with money and then come to us all to install & create stuff before disappearing and reinventing themselves again and again. After some amazing IPO and investment strategy which of course only benefits the advisors…who turn up again and again – if you dig deep enough.

#39 Comment By Paul Watson On 6 October 2011 @ 12:57 @581

I have never been a Director of HDS – I too was invited to the exhibition in Manchester where HDS had a stand. It was me who issued the winding up petition on HDS – unfortunately we can’t stop him trading again.
