Recently merged entities EnQii and Minicom Digital Signage [1] didn’t waste any time in sorting out a new name. We are quite sure that they looked long and hard at our suggestion ‘MinQii [2]‘ but in the end perhaps our licensing fee demands proved too much or maybe they just didn’t like it 😉
Well, exclusively as always of course, we can reveal that the new name which will be officially announced via press release on Wednesday 14th June 08:30 EST is going to be ComQi.
Note the use of a single ‘i’. It sort of works, perhaps a little like ‘Compaq’. We quite like it.
