Ok, so it’s the middle day of #ISE2012 and depending on whether you are a glass-half-full or a glass-half-empty type of person there is one day left to go or one day gone!!
It’s also hump day (and before we get any more complaints from @WomeninAV [2] we mean that it is Wednesday, the middle of a work week used in the context of climbing a proverbial hill to get through a tough week) so let’s look at some of the must-see’s we think there are in Amsterdam. In no particular order: –
- AOpen’s coffee shop in Hall 10 Stand N129 [3] A great example of putting all of your products in context. A working coffee shop with great coffee to boot and many of their products on display in real life scenarios
- ComQi Hall 10 K118 [4] (our coverage sponsors for #ISE2012) Take your mobile phone and play with Shazam [5], look in the mirror [6] and learn how these guys see mobile, social and digital signage impact the world of retail
- eyevis omniSHAPES Stand #1N6 [7] Yes this is very MicroTiles like but they now seem to be production ready. Well worth a look
- Samsung in Hall 9 on stand C111 [1] Finally these guys are showing what they can do in digital signage. Simply fantastic (now, about that software? [8])
And last but not least Stefaan leroux [9] kindly sent in this tip, which we also think is great – TransLook by Vinyl I in Hall 9 stand A114 – it’s not (as it is billed) “the first ever interactive transparent display showcase but it is good and it is well worth a look.
