Parallel Worlds: NYC’s Show+Tell lands Time Warner Project!

Manolo Almagro, Q Division Managing Partner

This week’s Parallel Worlds is brought to you from the world’s most densely populated city. Imagine a place where 26,000 people are packed into each square mile, where over 40,000 movies, music videos, commercials, tv shows and documentaries are shot each year.

Welcome to the city that gave us The Yankees, Times Square, and movie stars such as Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Robert De Niro and of course – Scarlett Johansson. This is a city that never sleeps, thanks to a world class public transit system that ranks up there with the likes of Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul.

Welcome to NYC! my home town and the city that is also home to the hardest working people in the business. The good people of Show+Tell. Considering that I have the honor to be part of this fine company, I am proud to be the first to announce that Time Warner Cable has awarded Show+Tell with the city wide contract to engineer, create and manage all the digital signage programs for its New York City based retail locations.

The project includes a combination of indoor and outdoor signage configurations consisting of multiple Samsung 40″, 70″ LCDs, Primeview 70″ Outdoor readable LCDs, a 53′ x 5′ Multimedia 10mm outdoor LED spectacular and a 2 zone audio system. Show+Tell selected Wirespring’s Firecast Enterprise Solution to handle the scheduling, distribution and playback of the 25 channels of content. In addition to operating Time Warner’s digital out of home network – Show+Tell is also creating integrated campaign content for all sales and marketing initiatives.
