The Blackberry, developed by Waterloo, Ont.-based Research in Motion, is Canada’s most trusted mobile device and Apple is the most trusted for mobile entertainment, according to the second annual Most Trusted poll by Reader’s Digest Canada, the country’s most read and most trusted magazine.
RD commissioned Harris/Decima to conduct the independent survey to ask Canadians, who they trusted most when it came to Canadian personalities, Canadian professions and industries, and consumer brands. (Most trusted personality is David Suzuki, a champion of the environment. Most trusted profession is firefighter.)
“With so many options available today, consumers often find it overwhelming to choose between brands,” says Larry Thomas, publisher of Reader’s Digest. “The degree of trust carried by a brand is a key driver when making the decision to purchase.”
