Spotted on Saturday at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London were, what looked like Cubb mobile screens…But with a bit of asking around it seems they are but they aren’t – we now understand that SA Screen Media (the folks behind Digital Advans) have done some form of licensing deal (with the Cubb people in Paris) and we now have what is termed an ‘SA digiwalker’.
Scott Anthony from SA Screen Media told us on Monday “We were working on behalf of design capital plc at the master investor forum 2010, london”
He added “The digiwalker has been introduced to add to our interactive close proximity marketing solutions strengthening our iDOOH offering. The SA digiwalker can be used in conjuntion with our digiadvans as well as alone in both indoor and outdoor environments including brand activation campaigns, instore and of out of store product awareness campaigns and for events, festivals and exhibtions”.
We love the Digiadvan concept but more importantly brands, advertising agencies and media buyers and planners seem to also. It will be interesting to see if digiwalker can be any more successful than Adwalker who crashed and burned so spectacularly on the UK’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) last year.
The event was the master investor forum 2010, london.
