While this is on the web, there is a small component of international award-winning DOOH ads that are worth seeing – and a lot of OOH ads, as well – on the web-based Gallery launched by the Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada.
The 2009 creative collection has been selected from award shows across 15 countries and can be seen at www.omaccanada.ca/en/bestcreative.
The bilingual (French and English) microsite allows users to select from 14 different product categories with the ability to scroll through a thumb nail size image or view full size images as a slide show. Each image has details on the country, award, creative agency and advertiser.
“We wanted to recognize and celebrate outstanding OOH creative and hopefully provide some inspiration to the talented creative people in our industry,” said Rosanne Caron, president of OMAC. “The vast array of OOH products and networks combined with technological advances offer unique creative opportunities to involve viewers and influence purchase decisions.”
