Screenmedia Professionals Conference

Chris Heap has done his usual outstanding job in putting speakers together for ALL the free and paid-for conferences running alongside #ScreenMediaExpo in a few weeks time.

Looking at the paid-for Screenmedia Professionals Conference on May 18th 2011 (there are less than 40 tickets left we believe – capacity is 150 on the day in the Earls Court Conference Centre) all the sessions look good so it’s incredibly hard to pick what might stand out.

Dirk Huelsermann, Manager of VUKUNET DOOH Solutions at NEC Display Solutions and President OVAB Europe of course will open the conference proper and Florian Rotberg from invidis will chair.

The audience will then have presentations from Intel, PQ Media, HP, 3M, Minicom Digital Signage, Harris Corp and Ayuda with a final wrap up from OVAB Europe.

The first two sessions are from Intel (Jose Avalos presenting The Intel “Connected Store” – A vision for a rich brand interaction) and PQ Media presenting European Digital Out Of Home Media Forecast vs The Rest of World – both should be good and probably well worth the entrance fee on their own.

After a short break Mike Fisher from Futuresource will be discussing Display market trends and opportunities followed by a real coup for the organisers, Christine Outram from the MIT SENSEable City Lab talking about Minority Report.

Lunch is followed by presentations from HP and 3M (Neil Brown will be discussing Up front and personal: The future of DOOH Communications), MInicom Digital Signage and then Harris Corp.

The final presentation of the day is from ex-forces F-111 Navigator Madalyn Roker from Ayuda Media Systems entitled Optimising Advertising – Driven Digital Out Of Home Network processes.
