Esprit Digital in Deal w/ ex @NanoLumens VP EMEA

One of the weirder deals we heard about last week at #ISE2016 was Esprit Digital all of a sudden being incredibly interested in LED.
Considering that high quality, good resolution LED was all the rage in Amsterdam perhaps that interest is not too surprising you say BUT the choice of partner certainly is.
Armed with half a dozen well known brands that have, either had for a few years, or are now introducing high quality, high resolution LED to the marketplace (Barco, NEC Display Solutions and Samsung can be added to the list of Absen, Daktronics, NanoLumens and others) who do you think they chose to go with?
Well, fresh from being ousted by NanoLumens at the end of 2015, it didn’t take long for their former EMEA VP David Da Costa to find himself with an exhibition pass on some Shenzhen Import / Export LED company.
There he was telling anyone who would listen that he has both setup his own company to import said Shenzhen LED into Europe (err, why?) as well as entering a joint venture with Esprit Digital to exploit the new interest in LED.
