MediaZest’s Shares up on Simple Announcement

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

MediaZest Plc’s shares were up 10% early this morning, based in all probability on the simple news that they are now a Cisco partner – as per their RNS / Press Release this morning but of course something we reported a week or so ago and something you could have picked up on when we told you that MediaZest were on Cisco’s stand at ISE, Amsterdam.

MediaZest Plc (MediaZest or “the Group”), the creative digital out-of-home advertising company and audio-visual integrator, further to Cisco’s announcement on 27 February, is now a global partner of Cisco Systems, Inc.

In Cisco’s announcement it stated that it is establishing an Academy of Digital Signage. This Academy will offer a specialised three day programme focusing on the three core areas of digital signage: content creation, content management and content distribution. The programme will appeal to many digital media professionals worldwide who want to advance their expertise and it will give them a Cisco Qualified Digital Signage Media Professional credential.
