KineticX, the start-up incubator focused on emerging location technologies in the Out of Home space and a division of Kinetic, has announced a strategic partnership with Strawberry Energy, a company trying to develop solar powered, urban furniture for sustainable cities of the future.

We are told that the partnership will provide brands with the opportunity to target and engage with audiences through Strawberry Energy’s network of smart benches in high footfall locations. The award-winning smart benches feature the latest innovations in smart urban furniture, including free phone charging, free Wi-Fi and cutting-edge air quality information. The benches offer multiple audience touch points for brands, from the branding surface to the branded Wi-Fi login page.

Rosh Singh, Head of Kinetic Active & KineticX, told us “We are delighted to be partnering with Strawberry Energy, a company whose innovative technology and passion for developing sustainable cities is changing the face of outdoor spaces to meet the needs of a modern, mobile generation. The power of OOH lies in connecting with the customer on the move and these benches provide an innovative engagement tool for urban living.”

Miloš Milisavljević, Founder and CEO of Strawberry Energy, believes that “Together we can bring an exciting and creative offering to brands that want to engage with audiences in a unique way.”
