In a press release entitled ‘Panasonic Business and Integrated Systems Europe are joining forces to bring Bart Kresa’s newest projection mapping showpiece to ISE 2019’, show organisers Integrated Systems Europe quietly slipped in the news that projection artist Bart Kresa will also present the #ISE2019 opening address on February 4, 2019 – replacing Ambarish Mitra, the co-founder and CEO of augmented reality technology company Blippar that slipped into administration in December 2018.

The projection mapping showpiece Sviatovid, is a faceted, five metre tall projection sculpture, and we are told is the successor to the iconic Shogyo Mujo, which debuted at the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA in 2014.

The press release states that the new sculpture is set to create a new benchmark in audio visual art and will be illuminated through 360° in True 4K using four Panasonic PT-RQ32 4K, 30,000lm laser projectors.

Sviatovid will be on display outside Hall 1 and 2 (Entrance K) throughout #ISE2019 at the RAI, Amsterdam and following the event, the sculpture will find residence at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin, Poland.
