BIG Outdoor Launches In Brisbane

Australia’s newest digital Out of Home media company launched in Brisbane today. BIG Outdoor are offering clients a single focus on everything that large format billboards offer.

Founder and CEO Phil Eastwood, one of Australia’s most experienced OOH Advertising executives told us “The large outdoor media suppliers have become ‘generalists’ with their focus diluted by selling across multiple outdoor environments. With digital OOH now accounting for 56% of total net media spend, large format digital billboards are the largest contributor and there is a need for a sharp focus to put back on the true power and impact big digital billboards deliver. Our vision is to be the undisputed experts in digital billboard advertising in Australia by providing market leading service, innovation and insights and by driving meaningful solutions and revenue growth for our customers and partners.”

Big Outdoor have embarked on an aggressive growth trajectory with 45 billboards in Queensland and a national development plan that will be achieved via acquisitions and organic growth.

To help bring their vision to life, Big Outdoor have recruited Richard Maund to head up sales and marketing. He joins the business from oOh!media where he
has been State Sales Director in Queensland for the past three years.

Along with Richard Maund, BIG Outdoor has appointed former senior JCDecaux executive Dean Cadee as Sales Director VIC and is in the final process of finalising there Sales Director for NSW.

The AdTECH: OOH – Sydney Conference will take place on Tuesday August 18, 2020.

For many in the region this is conveniently the day before Integrate 2020 which is being held at the ICC, Sydney between August 19 – 21, 2020 (this event alternates each year between Melbourne and Sydney).
