12 Times Revenue Digital vs Static

connect digital billboardLike those politicians who claim they are at it 5 times a night we think that Connect Outdoor Media LLC. (an affiliate of Fusion Media Group) who anticipate, with its first digital billboard generating at least 12 times the revenue the company was making with a static billboard may be perhaps, a little on the high side.

But hey they know their market much better than we do so let’s hope the revenue increase is as high or as close to that. We’d normally expect 5 – 6 times increase (on large outdoor billboards) and have reported previously that folks like Deutsche Bank reporting on Lamar and Clear Channel’s digital billboard migration in the US have estimated similar numbers.

The new Valo® digital billboard display supplied by Daktronics is Connect’s first digital billboard conversion located along US Highway 259 North of Kilgore, Texas and sees more than 21,000 vehicles pass by it per day.
