DPAA, the global trade marketing association, driving the growth and digitization of out-of-home media and its growing role in the omnichannel mix, announced this week that nominations are now open for the second annual Digital Out of Home Excellence Awards (DOOH-E), powered by Quotient, the leading digital media and promotions technology company that provides a trusted DOOH DSP for brands and agencies.
The DOOH-E Awards recognizes top performers in digital out-of-home media by showcasing the best campaigns that integrate adtech, targeting and dynamic creative approaches as a vital part of the omnichannel ecosystem.
Entries are due by August 18, 2023 and a shortlist will be released for public voting on September 8, 2023. Campaign winners will be announced during Out Of Home New York (formerly New York Digial Signage Week) at the DPAA Global Summit on October 10, 2023 at Pier 60 (Chelsea Piers).
Guest screening judges will advise on the shortlist, including Pascal Houdayer, CEO, Orveon Global and Susan Irving, CMO, Kruger Products.
The awards program is open to all organizations involved in the DOOH space who ran a campaign in the last 16 months. Awards categories include:
- Best Purpose-Driven Campaign
- Most Creative Campaign
- Best use of Programmatic Tech Innovation
- Best CPG DOOH Campaign
“Last year’s DOOH-E awards were a huge hit, as our global industry had its first opportunity to vote on their favorite campaigns,” said Barry Frey, President & CEO of DPAA. “Now in its second year, we are expecting more entries and are pleased to announce the new CPG category with partner Quotient who has run very successful CPG DOOH events with us.”
The Digital Out of Home Excellence Awards is part of Out of Home New York (formerly New York Digital Signage Week) which takes place from October 9 to 13.
The week will be the usual heady mix of FREE and PAID for events – conferences, showcases, cocktails, open house, breakfast debates, tours and other ad-hoc activities.
Already scheduled are the following; OAAA Cocktails, DPAA Private Dinner, DPAA Global Summit, AdTECH: OOH – New York, SOLOMON Cocktails and XUSC Jazz & Cocktails.
