A rumour that we heard Tuesday when in London for the (excellent, best ever) DPAA Town Hall and various other meetings was that Leeds based 75Media are in or about to go into liquidation. Sadly that has been confifrmed as true.
75Media don’t, as far as we understand, own any physical billboard sites so a cynic would say that it is “not clear what they are liquidating”, it looks like they are just letting go a whole bunch of good sales people just before Christmas. We have reached out to the company for comment.
The staff were told in a group email from 75Media CEO and Founder Paul Inman (which you can read here).
We have covered 75Media extensively over the last few years as they have grown and grown, You can see all of our 75Media coverage with one click here.
Liquidation is the process of converting a company’s assets into cash, and using those funds to repay, as much as possible, the company’s debts. Liquidation results in the company being shut down.
