The sale has been made to a leading ATM network owner in Greece by i-design’s channel partner, Mellon Financial Products Support S.A. (part of Mellon Group).
The bank will start off by deploying ATM:ad software to run targeted one-to-one internal marketing campaigns on its ATM network and the installation starts in June 2008.
We believe that i-design intends to build its overseas business by using channel partners as well as its own in-house sales team.
Ana Stewart, Chief Executive of i-design, has been quoted as saying “We believe there is huge potential to take our ATM advertising solution overseas and this sale is significant because it is our first deployment with a bank based outside of the UK.
“Our advertising solution is now proven in the UK, having been adopted by three major UK banks, including The Royal Bank of Scotland, the largest ATM owner in this country. Now that we have firmly established the credentials of ATM:ad in the UK, we have a strong base from which to continue to build our business abroad and it is encouraging that our channel partner for this territory has secured as their first ATM:ad customer a major player within the Greek marketplace.
