Intel’s Connected Store At Screenmedia Expo

Intel has just confirmed it will present ‘The Connected Store’ at this year’s #ScreenMediaExpo. Intel’s ‘The Connected Store’ will be located on Stand E7 showing visitors how Intel technology is enabling the future by enhancing the in-store customer experience while retailers reach their operations goals. Experience interactive digital signage that allows users to visually access and browse a department store’s entire inventory at the touch of their fingertips, get special pricing via mobile, create outfits on a digital mannequin and then share virtually with friends. Tours of the Connected Store are available by appointment.

For two full days #ScreenMediaExpo will be the hub of activity for the European place-based marketing and emerging media sector (18-19 May, London’s Earls Court 2). Over 4,000 visitors are expected to walk the floor, attend the free learning programmes, co-located conferences and after-show celebrations.  Exhibitor numbers are also on track for a record year – the latest to sign up include Vizrt, Planar, Digiadvans, Premier Mounts, AMD, Melford Electronics, Adscreen, DGScreen, Galaxia and Eyetease.

Other highlights of the #screenmediaexpo show are a new branded seminar presented by The Imperative Group; the FLEX London DOOH Conference and the first LoveContent Annual Awards hosted by The Screen will take place on the evening of 18th May.

Furthermore, Melford Electronics has been announced as sponsor of the expo’s Digital Signage network. For many years Melford has hidden in the background of many exciting DOOH projects, bringing technical expertise, engineering excellence and reliable manufacturing to media based companies. This will be Melford’s first DOOH exhibition as, with a number of high profile designs under its belt, the company feels now is the time to present itself to the market as an experienced and successful design and manufacture partner for the ever expanding DOOH market.
