Chevron Taps GSTV’s inOvationTV At The Pump

Gas Station TV, believed to be the largest national away-from-home television network at the pump, and Wayne, a GE Energy Business and global innovator of fuel dispensers and technologies, have announced that Chevron has approved inOvationTV for its Video at the Pump Program.

Chevron, a billion dollar corporation. is Fortune 500’s #3 company in America. inOvationTV is now available free of charge for immediate use by both Chevron and Texaco branded retailers approved by GSTV and Wayne. inOvationTV is available as a retrofit to existing Wayne Ovation fuel dispensers, or can be included at no charge with new Ovation dispenser purchases. inOvationTV will now be on screens at 1,000 Chevron and Texaco Stations.

“Gas Station TV has been an approved forecourt media vendor for Chevron’s Video at the Pump Program for the last five years,” says David Leider, CEO of Gas Station TV. “Chevron has approved the inOvationTV platform for Video at the Pump and we are happy to bring our great content experience, and Wayne’s technology expertise, to help Chevron and Texaco branded retailers enhance the fueling experience of their customers, and also help drive incremental fuel and c-store sales.”

Dan Dawson, a Chevron retailer in Austin, Texas, expressed his utmost satisfaction with inOvationTV, as he has seen firsthand that the tool is a critical medium to expand his business.

inOvationTV was co-developed by GSTV andWayne and launched in Sept./11. Once fully deployed, inOvationTV will triple GSTV’s monthly viewership to more than 70 million consumers. This venture means further expansion into the western states for GSTV.

Fuel retailers outfitted with inOvationTV can inform and entertain their customers with GSTV’s exclusive content experience, including news from HLN, entertainment headlines from Showbiz Tonight, sports recaps from ESPN, business and personal finance reports from Bloomberg TV, local weather from AccuWeather, and GSTV’s original social media television show, Your Neighborhood.
