Voices Raised In Welcome, Hands Held In Prayer

Word reaches us from the hallowed halls of Park Ridge that the deal to sell Convergent Media Systems may now be dead in the water.

Just three short years after buying Convergent Media Systems for USD 6 million, we hear that Sony Japan put a USD 20 million price tag on said business – if true, this surely gives a whole new meaning to the words ‘Sony Premium’ 😉

With rumour from Wall Street of actual valuations one third of that asking price WE BELIEVE that it is much more likely that, rather than be sold, Convergent will be folded back into Sony proper under Alex Shapiro.
