AVI-SPL, Tampa, Florida-based audio visual and video solutions provider, has announced that that Doug Carnell, executive vice president of operations, will be leaving the company to pursue other professional interests.

Carnell will stay on with AVI-SPL until Dec. 1, 2014, to transition his responsibilities for the US to senior vice-presidents of sales and operations Dale Bottcher and Mark Linton. Bottcher, Linton and the managing directors of Canada and EMEA, Boris Koechlin and James Shanks, will all report directly to CEO John Zettel. Sales and Operations functions will continue to report up to this strong leadership team who will be instrumental with the growth and success of AVI-SPL.

“Over the last 11 years, through everything from his work as head of the Chicago office and Enterprise sales, to his leadership in standardizing and documenting operational delivery, Doug has played a vital role in this company’s success,” says Zettel. “As executive vice-president of operations, Doug has built an incredibly talented organization and laid the foundation for the continual success of our operations team.”
