This year’s NEC Display New York Showcase will feature many of the NEC Display Solutions’ partners up-front-and-center, giving attendees access to a wide range of complete solutions and offering.

NyShowCase_Logo_2015The annual NEC Display Solutions New York Showcase is movin’ on up, and taking the company’s partners with it.

A new, larger venue with more booth space has given NEC the chance to showcase solutions from some of our partners at this year’s event.

In its 22nd year, the event is going to be the most impressive yet – with more partners, solutions and exhibit space than ever before!

And the overall list of partners reads like a “Who’s Who?” of industry pioneers, with a total of 15 technology companies exhibiting and an additional four, sponsoring events throughout the showcase. Attendees will be able to speak with these companies at length to discuss complete solutions incorporating technologies such as content management software solutions, kiosks, touch interactivity solutions, computing, mounting solutions, projection screens technology, audio systems, audio/video control and switching, signal processing and power conditioning.

Partners will demonstrate not only their products, but also their abilities to integrate with NEC to create holistic solutions. This approach offers attendees the opportunity to learn more about solutions that meet their specific needs through demonstrations and discussions. Furthermore, due to the variety of partners featured, the showcase will display solutions for many different verticals.

With the intimate nature of the show, attendees are encouraged to chat at length with NEC pro’s and NEC partners alike on solving business challenges for many vertical markets with complete technology solutions…

  • Featured solutions include showcasing the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS), which has dramatically enhanced the flexibility of display and projection applications and was the industry’s first standardized input.
  • Other cutting edge technologies include smaller, faster, dependable computing systems, customer engagement platforms, cloud based technologies, and a complete integrated platform for retailers.
  • With cloud computing technologies, interactive devices, and even trigger based technologies on display, attendees will get to learn more about how these technology companies can help solve many of today’s challenges – it may come as no surprise that a substantial number of partners in the showcase will be displaying solutions focused on #IoT.
  • Several partners will also showcase solutions that are key parts of interactive kiosk solutions. This will include the technology behind the screen, the kiosks themselves, and the touch technology that drives the interactive experience.
  • Distribution of audio and video are critical for success in any technology deployment. At this year’s showcase, many of NEC’s partners will display cutting edge technologies focused on distribution of content to such mediums as video walls, single screen systems, kiosks, and projectors. There will also be audio solutions focused on speaker technology. Without the right commercial solution, companies can fail in delivering their audio message.
  • No technology installation is complete without a powerful software platform that distributes content appropriately for the specific medium. Partners specializing in these solutions, along with those who offer advanced processing capabilities, will be on hand to demonstrate how much of an impact this technology can make.
  • Choosing the right projector screen is crucial for any projection installation in order to enhance the overall viewing experience. Attendees will get to speak with industry experts about projection screen technologies and their benefits for specific applications. Many will be on hand to answer any questions about mounting applications, as well.
  • Partners with platforms that can publish broadcast quality content to a number of different devices such as video walls, LCD, LED, desktops, tablets, smart phones and shelf displays will demonstrate their groundbreaking technology. This technology is designed to work across multiple platforms such as Linux, Chrome OS, Android, Windows and IOS platforms.

There are opportunities for product education off the exhibit floor as well, with formal training sessions devoted to exploring SSL projectors and large format UHD – those attending the sessions will come away with further knowledge about these technologies and what key features differentiate NEC’s products – note that attendees must register separately for these sessions, Ed.

The involvement of all of these partners gives attendees the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of how NEC Display interfaces with the entire AV/IT ecosystem. The variety and depth of partners elevate the showcase from a technology show to a solutions event focused on applications and vertical market needs. NEC Display and its partners will be available to answer questions, as well as demonstrate the unique benefits of the many solutions on hand.

This year’s event takes place on November 4 at the spacious SIR Stage37 just minutes from Times Square and the Javits Center. You can register your interest here.
