Luxury fashion brand Calvin Klein has launched a worldwide ad campaign for its new perfume ‘CK2’, exclusively for the travel retail market. Calvin Klein has called on its target millennial consumers to celebrate being in love with the hashtag #the2ofus.

Currently available in 40 key airports, Airport Media’s advertising proposition at London’s Gatwick Airport was an obvious choice as 42% of total passenger journeys are made by millennials. Armed with this insight, along with the fact that millennials make up one fifth of all global tourists, Coty Ltd took the decision to launch the fragrance solely to the travel retail market during Christmas and Chinese New Year. The fragrance will be available across all fragrance retailers in early 2016.

The launch marks Gatwick Airport’s largest Travel Retail advertising campaign, seeking to raise awareness and drive sales by using spectacular and digital sites that dominate the departing passenger experience, particularly in close proximity to World Duty Free. This selection of formats delivers impact and standout across both terminals, including Airport Media’s large format HD digital screens and digital 6-sheet network.
