Captivate Makes Two Internal Executive Appointments

Captivate, location -based video media network engaging millions of upscale, hard-to-reach business professionals, has appointed Scott Marden as chief marketing officer and Harris Hwang as chief financial officer.

Both Marden and Hwang have made impactful advancements to the marketing and finance departments since joining Captivate.

Scott-Marden-Chief-Marketing-Officer-Marden is a 20-year marketing veteran with a deep understanding of advertising strategy, media measurement and a proven track record of revenue growth. He has held several positions at Captivate including senior vice-president of marketing and research, vice- president of marketing and research, and research director.

Hwang brings 20+ years of financial experience and leadership from top corporations, including Getty Images, BlackRock and Merrill Lynch. Promoted from executive vice- president, strategic planning and corporate development, Hwang will now oversee accounting, strategic planning, M&A, investor relations, business analytics and pricing and sales operations.

In 2015, Captivate hired 20 new employees across all departments, including Barb Huggett, vice-president of advertisings; Michael Mongelluzzo, vice-president of business development – ad sales; Xin Gu, vice-president of business development – real estate; Jenny Therriault, director of national sales; Leigh Lowery, director of national sales; Leslie Paganot, director of national sales; Heather Chigas, research director; and Eugene Pidan, strategy analyst.

Captivate 12,000 elevator and lobby displays are located in 1,800 premier office buildings across North America’s top urban markets. The company has experienced 220% viewership growth over the past five years, delivering 12 million unique monthly viewers.
