Thursday November 1, 2018 and Friday November 2, 2018 during New York Digital Signage Week, sees Barco hold an Innovation Showcase, a seminar entitled ‘The Evolution of Display Technology for Retail and Public Spaces‘ and their regular Media Lab Session (usually Monday evening but not this year), which alongside the usual cocktails, will feature Moment Factory’s Amahl Hazelton as a guest speaker.
All events take place at Spring Studios in the heart of Tribeca.

IMG Exhibitions is the world’s preeminent museum exhibition producer and is entrusted with the most valuable treasures from earth and sea, including objects from the tomb of Tutankhamun, relics from Cleopatra’s Royal Palace, Princess Diana’s Royal Wedding Gown, and the only authenticated pirate treasure in the world.

- On Thursday evening that same day 17:30 – 20:00, Barco have secured the speaking services of a much in-demand individual for their Media Lab Session (registration can be found here), namely Moment Factory’s Amahl Hazelton who joined Moment Factory back in 2009, and now heads Strategy and Development for Moment Factory’s ‘Urban Spaces’ division.His experience in digital placemaking ranges from content-rich immersive experiences on Vancouver’s iconic Canada Place Convention Centre to the facades of the Federal Parliament building and the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. Building on celebrated media architecture installations from LAX and Changi airports, to flagship civic infrastructure such as the Interactive Illumination of Montreal’s monumental Jacques Cartier Bridge, to the award-winning Kontinuum digital take-over of Ottawa’s soon-to-open LRT subway tunnel in 2017, Moment Factory takes the audience on an exciting, disruptive tour into the future of digital signage.
Amahl will present ‘Multimedia Architecture: Passion and Placemaking’.
