Look at the mess that IBC made of their Digital Signage Zone, look at how so many of the digital signage folks stayed away from VISCOM Paris this week (a printing show, a printing show) and it doesn’t take a genius to work out that if you want a show with a European footprint and heritage (5 years old in May 2010) that is dedicated SOLELY to digital signage and digital out of home then you need look no further than Screenmedia Expo.

Looks though, like these folks are not resting on their laurels and we hear great things about their plans for DOOH EXPO (great name) which will run alongside the show in London next May- brands, ad agencies, media buyers / planners and media owners will all be there in some guise or other and it seems like Mediaweek will be running a 1 day conference as well on day 2 of the show.
