A New ‘Signage Solutions’ Magazine

Chris Sheldrake

Making any magazine work in this day and age is a difficult one but some of our favourite magazines like Monocle show what can be done if you use the inherent qualities of print as opposed to compete with the instant news story world of online – doing the same, and making the numbers add up, in a much lower volume niche industry such as ours is of course even harder.

Signage Solutions is described as “the only magazine devoted entirely to end-users in the digital signage industry” though we’d probably argue that UK based DDR magazine is pretty much in the same category.

Anyway the premier Issue of the magazine is expected to launch July 2010 – the space reservation deadline for advertising is 1st June though.

The marketing blurb for the magazine says that it will reach 22,000 decision makers 6 times a year starting in July 2010 and that the circulation will reach the following industries…

  • Transportation
  • Healthcare
  • Arenas/Stadiums
  • Marketing/Advertising
  • VARs/Integrators
  • Retail/Restaurants/Public Spaces
  • Hospitality
  • Houses of Worship
  • Financial/Corporate
