Nice Tom Tom Campaign Helps Festival Goers

Chris Sheldrake

Tom Tom really seem to ‘get’ the power and benefits of digital screens. In the UK we see them extensively making use of the Amscreen forecourt network and this last Sunday and Monday they were spotted at the Camp festival in Dorset Lulworth Castle.

What was particularly good was the way that SA Group / SA Digiadvans targeted the festival goers as they were leaving the festival and giving them something useful – via newly equipped wireless printers and wireless internet capabilities built into each SA Digiadvan, festival goers were able to plan and print off their routes home!

Lyndal Newman, Marketing Manager UK & Ireland at TomTom told us “The event indeed went very well and the traffic on the van worked brilliantly, people thought it was a brilliant idea and many of them came to see their route and traffic for their drive home”.

Scott Anthony told us exclusively “Who would have ever guessed that a vehicle could bring you your route home at the touch of a button and via our virtual touch screen keyboards, which allows you to visit the internet and plan your safe route home. We will keep pushing these innovative interactive strategies pushing the boundaries of iDOOH at every opportunity”.

Great idea – simple, clever and helpful to consumers, rather than I direct sell or a product trial.
