Many of you in the UK OOH industry may well know Catherine Cooper. Catherine joined JCDecaux Airport’s marketing team back in 1999 rising to Head of Marketing Communications, she left JCDecaux Airport (briefly) in February 2008 to join Eye as Marketing Manager but has since returned in an exciting / interesting new role as ‘Associate Director of Product Marketing’
Catherine will report to Julie France, UK Managing Director of JCDecaux Airport and will be responsible for advising on future product strategy – basically ensuring that JCDecaux Airport develops the optimum formats and locations to meet advertisers’ requirements.
Catherine of course will work closely with JCDecaux Airport’s business partners including BAA, Eurotunnel and London Luton.
Julie France told us “Catherine’s in-depth knowledge of outdoor advertising at airports made her the ideal candidate for this key new role. I am delighted to welcome Catherine back to JCDecaux Airport as we transform our advertising portfolio.”
Catherine’s appointment comes at a time when JCDecaux Airport’s redevelopment programme in airports moves into an exciting second phase – these folks are now upgrading the advertising sites across all 12 advertising concessions following the successful deployment of digital sites and the launch of Heathrow Terminal 5.
