Avanti Screenmedia Group announced today that it has signed new five year contracts with three of its existing malls owned by Land Securities plc, namely Clapham Shopstop (Clapham Junction), N1 Shopping Centre (Islington) and Victoria Centre SW1.
Simon Rees, CEO of Avanti said: “Avanti’s strategy of developing and extending existing client relations is proving successful. We remain focused upon providing a high quality product offering rather than seeking to compete on price alone. I believe that our performance has been recognised by Land Securities and, as one of our most valued clients, we are delighted that they have demonstrated their confidence in Avanti by extending their contracts for a further five year term.”
This is great but I wish they could / would get their hands on (a lot) more Malls. A deal with ScreenFX to take MallFX off of their hands would good for the industry I think (property rights / contracts etc allowing) and grabbing a few independent Malls or Malls with no providers at present like Bluewater (Ashingo aren’t doing anything with it – all the screens are their but turned off) would also be good if they could.
