James Roles Joins JCDecaux

JCDecaux, the UK’s leading Outdoor advertising company has appointed James Roles from News International as Director of Client Development.

In this newly created senior role, James will have a remit across JCDecaux’s portfolio and will report to Spencer Berwin, He will head up an expanded client team of four, comprising Isabel Howett, Business Development Director and an additional three new recruits.

We are told that James will work closely with the UK and JCDecaux OneWorld sales teams to develop new business and to keep clients abreast of the fast-changing opportunities in the Outdoor market.

His breadth of experience will be invaluable as digital Outdoor continues to expand and clients increasingly look to Outdoor to provide new ways to engage with their audiences. James’ expertise will be crucial in helping clients to maximise their Outdoor investment and access the best sites.”

James Roles was Head of Client Development at News International Limited where he set up and ran the client team across the portfolio of newspapers. Previous to this, he was Head of Brand Marketing for the Sunday Times and Times. In his earlier career James worked at agencies including BBJ, Saatchi & Saatchi, Universal McCann and OMD.
