A Little More On The New Connected Times Square Network

We’ve been trying to get more information on the new network of eight digital billboard spectaculars in Times Square for which Superior Digital Displays LLC has received funding, as we wrote about last week.

We’re told that one screen is already up and that all will be in place later this spring.

We wondered how Superior Digital Displays was able to get such top real estate in such a hurry, but we’ve been told that the project has been in the plans for several years and that someone – perhaps Superior’s CEO Bill Mulder? – had long ago made the real estate agreements and has been paying to lease the spaces on hold.

Makes sense to us!
