Barnetts Motor Group Drives Communications with ONELAN
With multiple car showrooms and sites in Dundee and St Andrews, Barnetts Motor Group wanted the best solution for delivering internal and showroom external marketing messages and information to create customer excitement and staff awareness electronically.
Barnetts Motor Group had three main objectives.
- To source and deploy a delivery mechanism to best communicate energy and excitement to customer facing areas such as showrooms and coffee areas centrally controlled by Marketing.
- Utilising the same mechanism, to deploy a solution to communicate to staff in rest areas, canteen’s etc where company objectives, statistics, priorities and the latest company marketing initiatives can be communicated.
- To achieve the above with one touch point operator without the need for repeating or rework but also with the capability for local messaging to be utilised.
The flexibility, immediacy and exciting video content capable of being deployed through digital signage made this a natural choice for a dealership at the cutting edge of technology and process control. A four screen showroom ‘horizon’ deployment will be followed by other showroom applications and staff areas with around 20 screens planned.
According to Barnetts Motor Group, the system is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. It is very easy to use, reliable and fit for purpose. ‘It’s early days for us but so far staff and customers appear to like the system. It projects a modern, hi-tec image of our business.
