It seems like Atlanta-based MaxMedia executives are always on the speaking trail these days, bringing their digital signage message to receptive audiences wanting to learn.

Laura Davis-TaylorLaura Davis-Taylor, executive vice president of customer experience, and Ed King, vice president of strategy and leader of of MaxMedia’s consulting practice, MaxMedia Retail Labs, are joining other speakers and visionaries at a number of prominent retail and mobile industry conferences this month, providing their insights and expertise on improving the in-store shopping experience.

They are speaking both on educational panels and offer standalone presentations to help retailers create meaningful, measurable digital retail experiences in quickly-evolving shopping environments.

“The underlying goal across these conferences is to help retailers understand how to better connect with shoppers, analyze and apply key trends, and grow revenue in brick and mortar environments,” said Davis-Taylor. “Our contributions will focus on creating memorable and worthwhile experiences for the shoppers’ non-conscious shopping brain who make the conscious decision to walk into the store instead of making online purchases. It’s about helping retail businesses make consumers fall in love with shopping again—in their unique stores.”

Ed KingOn Oct. 22, 2015 Davis-Taylor joined Retail Touchpoints’ Content Strategist Alicia Fiorletta and several industry peers at Fashion Digital NY for ‘A Moment of Truth: A Year in Review’, which was scheduled from 9:20-9:55 a.m. at the SVA Theatre in Chelsea.

Davis-Taylor spoke on the convergence of digital and physical retail with an ecommerce focus, and how retail businesses can strategically optimize mobile wallets, social advertising and other e-tail innovations and disruptive technologies for the in-store retail experience.

On October 29, 2015 King will join thought leaders in mobile communications and location-based technology at Mobility Live! 2015 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

King will serve as a panelist for the session ‘Mapping Mobile Commerce – From Online to Offline and Back’, taking place from 1:15-2:00 p.m. in Building A. He will bring his knowledge about how retail businesses can effectively bridge online commerce and physical retail through mCommerce, including the role of location-based commerce alongside enhanced ad targeting and revenue opportunities. Asif Khan, president and founder of the Location Based Marketing Association, will moderate the session.

We understand that MaxMedia executives have more speaking engagements coming up shortly and the rumour is, that Laura Davis-Taylor is the sole keynote speaker for the Barco #NYDSW Reception which kicks off New York Digital Signage Week on Monday Nov 2, 2015.
