The Digital Signage Federation, independent not-for-profit trade organization serving the digital signage industry, has elected its new 2016 Board of Directors, with Randy Dearborn, vice-president, multimedia technologies, MGM Resorts International, as 2016 chairman.

Former chairman Ken Goldberg, CEO, Real Digital Media, will now head the Past Chairman’s Council.

Moving into the Vice Chair role is Richard Ventura, vice-president business development and solutions, NEC Display Solutions. Spencer Graham, West Virginia University’s manager of operations, joins the Executive Committee as treasurer/secretary.

The eight At-Large Director Board Director seats, which include three reinstated Board members returning to serve a second term, were decided by the DSF membership in an independent election from a slate of 10 nominees to serve two-year terms are:

Dearborn invites people working in the digital signage, interactive technologies and the digital out-of-home network industries to join the DSF and to participate in several exciting new initiatives planned for 2016 designed to help members increase their business opportunities globally.

“The DSF icontinues to expand our membership in North America and abroad – which now numbers over 650 individuals in 260 organizations and growing,” says Dearborn. “We welcome and encourage involvement in our DSF committees, which I hope to expand through a robust social outreach this year.”

DSF’s Mission is to support and promote the common business interests of the world-wide digital signage, interactive technologies and the digital out-of-home network industries. The DSF is a not-for-profit independent voice of the digital signage industry reflecting the diversity of its membership. It promotes professional recognition through certifications, continuing education, conferences, publications, and presentations offered by the DSF and affiliate groups. It provides government lobbying to leverage the collective strength of members and represent their interests at the higher levels of government and the community. The DSF provides leadership and networking opportunities focused on building a strong foundation for the advancement of the digital signage industry.
