13 Properties Join @Captivate Network

Captivate, location-based video media network, has added 13 additional office buildings to its network in Canada.

Captivate logoIncluded among the 13 are Deloitte’s new headquarters (Bay Adelaide Centre East) in Toronto, the MNP Tower in Vancouver, Calgary’s Eau Clair Tower and the Calgary City Centre buildings.

Captivate’s 12,000 screens are located in 1,800 premier office buildings across North America’s top 25 urban markets. The company has experienced 220% viewership growth over the past five years, delivering 12 million unique monthly viewers

Captivate has also expanded its Canadian staff with the hiring of Steve Chodat as business development manager, real estate, a new position. Chodat is expected to strengthen and expand relationships with Canada’s leading property managers by introducing innovative solutions to tenant engagement objectives along with new services to help enhance the office experience.

Before joining Captivate, Chodat was director of business development (Canada) with Mars Inc. and worked with leading corporate real estate groups and HR professionals seeking to enhance employee engagement and workplace effectiveness. He also worked in a series of progressively senior sales roles with Rogers Media Inc. (Publishing Division). He is a former member of the CoreNet Canada marketing committee.

The full list of 13 properties agreeing to join the Captivate network are:

  • Toronto: Deloitte (Bay Adelaide Centre East); 36 York Mills; 33 City Centre Drive; 25 Sheppard; and 201 City Centre Drive.
  • Calgary: Eau Claire Tower; Calgary City Centre; HSBC 407 8th Avenue; 634 6th Avenue; Calgary House; 707 5th Street; and Place 800.
  • Vancouver: MNP Tower.
