Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe is partnering with Hiperwall, Inc. on the launch of a new version of Hiperwall software. As a strategic partner, Sharp/NEC will offer Hiperwall software version 7.0 to its channel partner network through its display, projection and dvLED solutions.

Thorsten Wilm, Manager Software Solutions and Future Technologies at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe told us “As the challenges of COVID-19 have shown, the pace of change is accelerating in our digital world. Remaining resilient yet able to adapt quickly as situations change is key to maintaining process efficiency and lowering operational costs. That’s why this new version of Hiperwall will be an asset to our partners and customers. Our Hiperwall offering delivers the power to scale up and down, as well as add unlimited data sources and visual outputs as requirements in the control room change. What’s more, it does this with minimal cost and disruption, which is crucial to maintaining 24/7 flexibility and agility.”

Hiperwall version 7.0 is a complete set of applications for designing and operating any visual canvas like LED or video wall systems for informed decision-making and can now deliver state-of-art synchronisation across multiple LED controllers, continuous content delivery, and scalability improvements.

New features of Hiperwall version 7.0 include:

  • The possibility to integrate Hiperwall into a Video Management System (VMS).
  • HiperView Quantum: adds hardware-based sync max visual power in combination with NEC dvLED screens, also supported by the new SmartGrid function with smart, automatic snap-to-grid capability, and a source snapshot button.
  • Next-level Hiperwall source management: enables more sources to be added and improved source management overall. The new Source tab of the HiperController also adds more possibilities to control access and usage of sources remotely.
  • Continuous Content Delivery Seamless redundancy: The HiperController adds background synchronisation to HiperView and FailSafe Controller PCs.

The new software version brings enhanced value to customers in the control room environment, but also for any analytical task combining different data sources in real-time. An explosion of data caused by the Internet of Things and the further distribution of corporate IT assets have made video wall solutions vital to success. The need to visualise and manage data from multiple sources can happen anywhere and at any time, and decision makers must have oversight over them all.

Sharp/NEC and Hiperwall offer a single smart system that consolidates all process control functions. This gives decision makers a comprehensive and real-time overview over organisational data. The NEC Hiperwall content management solution offers the highest operational reliability and flexibility. By combining the Hiperwall software’s power and flexibility with Sharp/NEC’s solution quality and expertise, customers get the insight and accuracy they need to make decisions with confidence.
